New York, besides being the physical location where we are based, is a huge part of the Dutch Tulip Financial’sidentityin both style and substance.

1) New York’s significance in the finance world, which we derive a lot of ideas and subject matters from, inspires the project contents-wise

and 2) the city’s history as the mecca of streetwear, is a deep source of inspiration for us as what we do with the medium of graphic tees, is under the direct lineage of the movement.

We wanted to merge these elements, – finance & streetwear -disparate yet both so New York, into one piece of design and pay homage to the city by reversing the logo of NY MTA, which represents the public and accessible element of streetwear medium, into ATM and gave it a fictitious identity of cash liquidation service–an element that represents the elitist finance world.
